Hormones imbalance

Hormones Imbalance

Our body secretes more than 75 different hormones, Hormones — such as estrogen, testosterone, adrenaline and insulin… each of which play their respective roles in the human body.
Hormones act as the messengers in your body, overseeing the regulation of sleep cycles, reproduction, emotional health, physical growth, metabolism, body temperature, mental acuity, the immune system, and energy levels. They support the relationships between different bodily systems, and when they are out of balance, all of the body’s systems can be affected adversely.
Generally speaking, higher concentration of hormones in both males and females contribute to a youthful appearance and active lifestyle. Lower concentration of hormones generally lead to the symptoms associated with aging.

Hormone imbalance or decline is the one of the main initiators of the aging process. Hormone production reaches its peak during adolescence, when its primary function is to help promote and maintain a strong physical and mental state. As we age, hormonal decline may engender dysfunction of the various body organs, tissues and joints, symptoms of which may include fatigue, insomnia, pain, stiffness, difficulty concentrating, decreased libido, weight gain or weight loss, depression, irregular menstruation, aging of the skin and other symptoms of degeneration.

Hormonal imbalances in both sexes are not uncommon. Hormonal fluctuations can be a natural occurrence, but long-term imbalances are not. Imbalances are typically caused by an unbalanced lifestyle, poor diet, medications, health issues, synthetic chemicals, or toxins in the body. Acupuncture can be used to minimize the fluctuations and treat the hormonal imbalances as well.
The goal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is to restore hormone balance in the body. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are safe and effective forms of treatments, which promote a healthy equilibrium. Acupuncture has a regulating effect on the body and herbs have a hormone balancing effect on the body. They both play an important role in regulating the menstrual cycle, balancing emotions and promoting healthy organ function.

Traditional Chinese medicine for Hormones imbalance

Traditional Chinese medicine has been treating the symptoms of Hormones imbalance for over two thousand years. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this Hormones imbalance syndrome is referred to as "deficiency of Kidney Jing ", for which the treatment protocol includes balancing Yin and Yang, replenishing kidney essence and nourishing the liver blood.
acupuncture can be very effective in treating hormonal imbalances in the body and regaining proper hormone balance in the body. TCM states that the hormones in our body are what give us our Jing or essence. The kidneys, liver and other vital organs in the body store a certain amount of hormones or essence for the body and this is used in small amounts over an entire lifetime to help cells work and keep organs functioning well. The root of Yin is Jing and Jing consists of fluids and blood while Yang consists of warmth and good energy. When these essences or hormones become depleted in our body we start to have symptoms of hormonal imbalances which can lead to other problems and complications such as impotence or infertility and thyroid problems. TCM uses acupuncture to focus on the specific points in the body connected to organs like the kidneys and liver to help restore hormones or essence in the body and maintain hormonal balance in the body.

Acupuncture and herbs for Hormone Balance treatment are natural, Safe

Acupuncture and china herbs are a natural method of restoring balance to the hormones. Acupuncture and china herbs have none of the side-effects or toxicity found with Western medicinal approaches. For example, the synthetic hormones used for menopause in women are believed to result in the elevated risk of stroke, heart attacks, and certain types of cancer. Some individuals simply cannot take the medication prescribed for their hormonal imbalances. Acupuncture, on the other hand, is extremely safe, and some researchers report that it is more effective that Western hormone replacement therapies. By placing needles at key channels of energy, certain organs (including glands) can be stimulated and a person’s Qi(“Chee”) redirected. It can help balance hormone.

I suffer from a complex endocrine condition. I had had all the treatment that traditional medicine can provide but remained very unwell with poor quality of life with much problematic resultant damage. Since seeing Dr. Yang I have been regaining my life because his treatments are so effective. Also, I find Dr. Yang to be particularly caring and he works carefully and thoughtfully to use his skills to best treat my complicated condition. I credit all my improvement to Dr. Yang. He truly is a godsend

I have been going to Dr. Yang Acupuncture for over 6 months. Dr. Yang has helped me though many different medical issues including menopause, insomnia, allergies, anxiety and a shoulder injury. Not only is he an amazing practitioner, he is also a very amazing person, and you feel like you are being treated by someone who genuinely cares about you!!

I heard about Dr. Yang from a friend. I was looking for relief from symptoms of menopause, primarily hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia. I have found Dr. Yang to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and so caring and compassionate. My symptoms have improved and I have gained so much more from the treatments. He has addressed other symptoms in my body as they arise and is extremely flexible in discussing whatever might be going on with me during a particular session. I honestly have never experienced such a sense of relaxation and peace during my sessions; I call it ‘going to a place of Zen’. It is definitely a worthwhile investment for me and I put it on my schedule just like I would any appointment to keep my body healthy, strong and balanced. I have recommended Dr. Yang to several friends and have even recently got my husband hooked.

“I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Yang for the positive changes that I have felt since beginning acupuncture treatments. Initially I began seeing Dr. Yang because I had been to two different medical doctors and was diagnosed with amenorrhea (not getting a period). For two years I worried about why my body wasn’t producing any blood. The doctors told me that my hormone levels were normal, all my tests came back without any problems, and they couldn’t find anything wrong with me. However, the medical doctors suggested I go back on birth control anyway to rectify the problem. That’s not what I wanted, so I went to Dr. Yang for help. After just 8 acupuncture sessions, I got my period for the first time in 2 years! I can’t describe how excited I was to know that I could function optimally again without the use of hormones or other medications. I went the natural route, and now I feel amazing. thank you!!!”
